Field Opportunities

State-approved apprenticeship and craft training programs are mandatory for field personnel; these programs lead to state or certification which is now required for field electricians. On-the-job training helps develop novice workers – journeyman electrician work alongside apprentice and craft trainees, sharing their knowledge and overseeing the work to help those less experienced improve their skills day by day.

NJATC Program

PECI has become affiliated with the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee. This model partnership has proven to produce the strongest and most educated electrical apprentices and wireman in the country.
